I can’t believe how behind I am on blogging – so many wonderful sessions to share with you all, including James and Elianna’s engagement session (which also included their adorable baby girl). You might recognize Elianna from Tim + Christine’s wedding – she was a bridesmaid! I met Elianna around the same time as Christine, in that little school for homeschooled kids that we all were a part of but like Christine, we didn’t really connect until later in high school when we all ended going to the same school and graduating together. I remember being in the same church small group in grade 11, where the two of us would lay down on the floor and talk about everything under imaginary skylights hahah! After graduation I would see Elianna here and there at gatherings with friends and in coffee shops and have always enjoyed running into her. A few years passed before I heard Elianna had started dating James. Then came pregnancy news and an engagement, a beautiful baby girl, and this August will come a wedding. It was so fun to meet up at Mill Lake for some family + engagement photos. We caught the last of the fall leaves and the sun even came out for a little bit. Can’t wait to share more about these two and their love story after photographing their wedding! Summer 2017 can’t get here soon enough!
