Joni + Harris found me through a mutual friend and I am so glad that they did because their wedding was one for the books. We hit it off right away when we met for coffee months ago to go over initial details and I have loved the time that I have spent with these two since then. Their engagement shoot at lighthouse park was so dreamy and I looked forward to their wedding all summer. Joni’s vision of deep colours and gold came together perfectly and I loved all of the shades of purple and how warm yet elegant their entire day was. Bonus: we found the prettiest autumn light and trees so portraits were so much fun! This was the very best way to end my summer wedding season. Next week round two of winter weddings starts up so enjoy the warmth and sunshine in these photos!

Joni is a girl who knows what she wants and is willing to put the work in to get it. The amount of time and effort she put into creating this dream day speaks to that. But she is quick to smile and has some killer dance moves. Harris is a little more laid back, is so thoughtful, and greets people with a certain warmth and kindness that is so special. Together these two are magic. They love and enjoy each other so well and it was such a pleasure to capture that love.
