Almost two months ago (!!) I flew to Manitoba to stand beside Alison as she married Skylar. The whole day was so beautiful, full of thoughtful details + pretty things. They led their friends and family in worship, made vows, ate delicious food, and danced the night away. Their venue was amazing and Meghan Bustard captured their big day perfectly. The next day, after an amazing brunch with some of Alison’s family, we jumped into a car and drove a couple of hours to the summer camp where Skylar + Alison met, fell in love, and got engaged. Alison showed me and our friend Dom the spot where Skylar proposed, photos of their summers together, and the rest of the property. It was a pretty special time, especially because Alison and I met at a camp here in BC one summer a few years ago and I’ve heard her talk about the camp that she grew up at + loves ever since then. While we were there Alison and Skylar got back into their wedding clothes and we took photos all around, making sure to stop in a few special spots. At the end of the shoot, they got into the water and we captured some of the prettiest photos! Excited to see what the future holds for these two as husband and wife. So much love to you both!
