I had such a wonderful time photographer Zach + Julie’s wedding day. Julie is also a photographer and it is always such an honour to have a fellow photographer choose you as their wedding photographer. Their day was perfectly planned and I loved the mix of moments captured and the moments that Zach + Julie kept to themselves. They chose not to have their first look photographed and I loved how special it was just for the two of them, especially because the tears started early on. Photographs are so beautiful and so important but they are not everything and those little moments that I didn’t capture were such a sweet reminder of that. After getting ready, we headed to the church and it was packed to the brim by the time the ceremony started. Their youth kids filled the entire back section of the church and it was so fun to see all of the people who came out to support and love on these two. It started raining during the ceremony but we headed to Vedder river anyways in hopes of catching some dry weather and it worked out perfectly. After taking some dreamy photos it was time for the reception where everyone talked and laughed for hours before the live band kicked off the dance party.
Thank you for having me, Zach + Julie. You are so gracious and thoughtful and fun and your day perfectly reflected that. My favourite part of any wedding is seeing all of the people that the bride and groom have invited because it perfectly depicts the kind of couples that I photograph. I always love witnessing and photographing all of the heartfelt connections and joy and your wedding was no exception. Much love to you both as you settle into doing life together, forever!
