A place where I share photos, stories about the amazing couples and families that I have the joy of photographing, thoughts, family life, and adventures. I hope you leave feeling inspired!
I firmly believe in appreciating life for what it is… I know that time doesn’t stop for anyone. That being said, the moments that made up 2015 didn’t feel significant at the time. I didn’t even realize how many BIG things happened until I was reflecting on the past twelve months.
I graduated from university.
I traveled more than ever including Poland, Portugal, Ireland, Scotland, England, France, Oregon and Alberta twice, Manitoba, and all over my own beautiful province.
I jumped into photography full time. I am kind of taking it month to month at this point while I pray about where God is taking me (some possible changes coming but more on that later).
And those are just the obvious things. I wrote a big post last December about depression and anxiety and vulnerability. Although I didn’t always see it, I truly believe that 2015 was year of newfound hope. A year of rediscovering joy and dreams. And in turn, surrendering those dreams as I seek God’s will for my life.
These one hundred and eighty seven photos can’t possibly tell you everything about these people and days but they give you a glimpse into some of the stories and happy times that made up 2015. I am so, so thankful for this life of mine and I am so thankful to all of the brides, grooms, and families that welcomes me into theirs.
A huge shout out to all of the wonderful photographer I got to work with this year including Meghan Bustard, Megan Benger, Liesel Sanday, Kat Grabowski, Wendy Lees, and Cecilia Flaming.
“I shall live forever and ever and ever ‘ he cried grandly. ‘I shall find out thousands and thousands of things. I shall find out about people and creatures and everything that grows and I shall never stop making magic. I’m well, I’m well” – Frances Hodgson Burnett
