A place where I share photos, stories about the amazing couples and families that I have the joy of photographing, thoughts, family life, and adventures. I hope you leave feeling inspired!
I loved celebrating with Brennan + Lydia when they got married last week in front of their closest friends and family. Their intimate wedding was personal and fun and it was so cool to see how intentional they were with every person that they invited. The day started in a sweet little chapel just outside of Fort Langley where they made vows and said “I do” to loving each other for the rest of their days. Everyone cheered and their massive dog barked alongside the happy crowd. After eating homemade cookies and taking some photos with their guests we headed to the old ferry docks for portraits before driving into Chilliwack for the reception. They had renovated an old barn loft and it was stunning. Every nook and cranny were filled with fun little details and there was the cutest little kids section with crafts and games and toys. Brennan and Lydia were so gentle and playful with their nephews and little friends. I remember standing next to Lydia chatting and out of the corner of my eye I saw Brennan playing with the kids. Lydia looked over and happily murmured, “that’s our future.” Such a sweet truth. Dinner was served family style around one big long table and the evening was relaxed. After sneaking out for some golden hour photos the line dancing started, in true country style and when I left for the night everyone was still dancing and laughing and talking with each other. I love how the entire day reflected Brennan and Lydia and their close knit community.
Thank you for having me you two! It was such an honour to be your wedding photographer and I loved everything about your special day. Enjoy the photos!
